We're the global leader in providing energy solutions that help businesses grow and communities thrive.We work as a team and were proud of the difference we make to customers, to local communities, and towards a sustainable future for the world.Were looking for Audit Associate - Fixed-term contract in Dubai and the main job function is to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards and identifying any discrepancies or risks, assist in preparing reports, analyzing data, and verifying the accuracy of financial statementsWhy Aggreko?Position will be based in DubaiIndustry-leading benefit plans including medical insuranceContinuous training and development with career growth opportunitiesSafety-focused cultureWhat youll do:Data extraction and validation from various MDP/Power BI Reports and M3Co-ordination, Extraction, collation, finalization of the delivery notes required for inventory testingRoll forwarding the prior year work paperslinking of documents and worksheets, reviewing of the GL Dumps etc.Yearend Agent balance reconciliations and mapping to accrualsInvestigations for JE testing, which usually involves giving the auditors a lot of details on a lot of transactionsCollating agent related documents and relevant invoices and payment proofs for the Cost of sales samplesMaintaining confirmation trackersPerforming admin related stuff (collating information on the details of third parties for sending confirmations)Organising and collating documents for the samples selected in an easily understandable and accessible formatsco-ordinate with various people like HDCs, credit controllers, BAs, Wipro etc. to get the information within the stipulated timelinesUnderstanding the requirements around inventory testing and making audit appropriate workpapersPerforming basic predefined checks on the working files that will be shared with the auditors (example ensuring the schedule ties to the GL Balances etc.)Youll have the following skills and experience:Partly Qualified AccountantDemonstrate advanced skills in risk identification, mitigation, and compliance to ensure seamless operations and adherence to Aggreko requirements.Exhibit strong analytical skills to review and assess financial processes, conduct gap analyses, and evaluate internal controls, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Possess excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal finance teams, Wipro personnel, and external stakeholders, and the ability to effectively address audit findings and report progress to senior management.Develop a comprehensive understanding of Aggreko's business requirements, particularly in areas of Financial Accounting, Inventory, and Accounts Receivable, along with experience in maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders and managing day-to-day transactional activities.Find out more and apply now.Bring your energy.
