The role includes conducting hearing tests, recommending assistive devices, and ensuring high-quality patient care in compliance with M42 and DOH/DHA standards.Responsibilities
Examine patients to assess hearing and speech/language disorders.
Conduct hearing evaluations, tests, and medical examinations.
Develop hearing loss screening programs.
Plan and conduct treatment in collaboration with healthcare teams.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Participate in research and conferences on audiology topics.
QualificationsA Bachelor's in Audiology, Speech and Hearing (2 years experience) or Speech-Language Pathology (1 year experience) is required; a Masters in Audiology is preferred. Requires 1-2 years of clinical experience and a valid DOH/DHA license.
