OverviewFacility overview:M42 in partnering with the UAE Ministry of Defence to operate Zayed Military Hospital (National & Military Screening Service) in Al Batayeh, Sharjah. This collaboration will provide world-class healthcare to over three million residents in the northern UAE, including military personnel and their families. By integrating top healthcare providers like the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, and Healthpoint, M42 will ensure access to specialized and preventative care. Full-scale operations are set to launch in early 2025.Role overview:This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating conditions related to hearing, balance, and other ear-related issues. It also includes conducting hearing tests and evaluations, recommending assistive hearing devices to enhance patients' hearing, and delivering the highest quality of care in accordance with M42 and DOH/DHA policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards.Responsibilities
Adheres to organizational policies, procedures, and standards while ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory, accreditation, and certification bodies.

Conducts thorough ear examinations to assess hearing and speech/language disorders, diagnosing conditions and determining appropriate treatment plans.
Performs hearing evaluations using specialized equipment and medical instruments to assess the type and degree of impairment, developing targeted treatment strategies.
Recommends, fits, and dispenses assistive hearing devices such as hearing aids and cochlear implants, providing patients with comprehensive guidance on usage and operation.
Develops and maintains accurate clinical documentation, ensuring timely completion and that it reflects the services provided to patients.
Engages in continuous learning through research and participation in conferences to stay updated on new treatment methods, technologies, and advancements in hearing and speech disorders.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Audiology, Speech and Hearing with an active DOH license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital, clinic or rehabilitation setting.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, with a focus on continuous professional development.
