- Hearing & Balance Assessments: Conduct diagnostic tests (e.g., audiograms) to assess hearing and balance function, and diagnose conditions like hearing loss, tinnitus, or vertigo.
- Treatment & Device Fitting: Recommend and fit hearing aids, cochlear implants, and assistive devices. Adjust and monitor devices to ensure optimal functionality.
- Patient Education & Counselling: Educate patients and families on hearing loss management, prevention, and the proper use of hearing aids or devices. Provide emotional support and counselling.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals: Work with ENT specialists and other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive care plans for patients with complex hearing or balance disorders.
- Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, including test results, treatment plans, and progress notes. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and billing practices.
