Your role will entail collaborating closely with the performing arts department to ensure that all technical aspects of productions and educational activities run smoothly.Duties and responsibilities
Provide technical support for all audiovisual equipment including sound systems, lighting systems, projectors, microphones, and other AV equipment used in performances, rehearsals, and classroom activities.
Set up, operate, and maintain audiovisual equipment for performances, rehearsals, and events. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
Collaborate with teachers, students, and staff to ensure that audiovisual requirements are met for performances, rehearsals, and classroom activities.
Ensure that all audiovisual equipment and setups comply with safety regulations and school policies. Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Perform routine maintenance on audiovisual equipment to ensure optimal performance. * Provide AV support for Teachers, Parents and visitors.
AV systems will be maintained before and after all presentations
Support during all presentations where required *occasional out of hours*
Perform other related reasonable duties as requested by the Head of Performing Arts / Head of IT
Share good practice and occasional support to partner schools
Qualifications
Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting audiovisual equipment commonly used in performing arts settings, including sound systems, lighting consoles, and video projection systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse groups of students, staff, and volunteers.
Technical training or certification in audiovisual technology, theater production, or related fields is preferred.
