Asst. Quantity Surveyor
Job Description
Quantity Surveyor Duties and Responsibilities
Review architectural plans and prepare quantity needs
Estimate the quantity and costs of materials
Track changes in plans or constructions
Act as a liaison between clients and Consultant and company managers/engineers
Keep track of construction materials and inventory
Prepare payments for contractors and subcontractors
Document progress, materials, and reports on project
Utilize software to calculate, record, and track inventory and estimates
Quantity Surveyor Requirements and Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Civil engineering or quantity surveying
3-5 years of Building construction experience as a Quantity Surveyor in UAE
Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets
Proficient in computer skills like, AUTO CAD and Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
In-depth understanding of construction, materials and industry
Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
