We are seeking a talented and experienced Assistant Head Chef to join our prestigious steakhouse in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional culinary skills, a passion for creating memorable dining experiences, and the ability to support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation and Cooking:
• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes, specializing in steaks and other menu items.
• Ensure food presentation is at the highest standard.
• Menu Development:
• Assist the Head Chef in designing and updating the menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and trends.
• Develop new recipes and ensure the consistency of all dishes.
• Kitchen Management:
• Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.
• Ensure all kitchen staff adhere to safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain stock levels.
• Team Leadership:
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Quality Control:
• Monitor and maintain the highest level of food quality and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Customer Service:
• Interact with guests to receive feedback and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Address and resolve any customer concerns or complaints promptly.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end steakhouse or fine dining restaurant.
• Education: Culinary degree or equivalent certification.
• Skills:
• Strong culinary skills with expertise in steak preparation and cooking techniques.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment, safety, and hygiene standards.
