Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Assistant Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electrical engineering within the construction MEP sector Works, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience. This role involves supporting the electrical engineering team in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Support: Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and components for construction projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and standards.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to ensure electrical systems are integrated effectively into overall project plans.
• Technical Analysis: Conduct technical analyses and calculations to support the design and installation of electrical systems, including load calculations, voltage drops, and circuit designs.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, to support project execution and compliance.
• Quality Assurance: Review and verify electrical design plans and installations to ensure adherence to safety standards, regulations, and project requirements.
• Testing & Commissioning: Assist in the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and performance.
• Site Supervision: Support on-site activities by overseeing electrical installations, coordinating with subcontractors, and resolving any issues that arise during construction.
• Compliance: Ensure all electrical engineering work complies with local codes, standards, and regulations, including safety and environmental considerations.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of electrical engineering practices.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a similar role within the construction or real estate sector, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and design principles.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical design software and tools; familiarity with relevant codes and standards in the Middle East.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex electrical systems and provide practical solutions.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in engineering design and documentation.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment and support project objectives with a proactive approach.
