Whilst principally a project management role, the role will also require technical and design management. The appropriate candidate will therefore likely come from a technical background with a degree and also working experience in one of master planning, urban design, transport planning, highways, utilities or civil engineering.As Associate Project Manager, you will assist the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with the project and design management of a portfolio of Land Development design schemes, from concept master plan stage, through to infrastructure and public realm detailed design. You will oversee and manage several design teams (including but not limited to master planning, transport planning, landscaping, highways, utilities and specialist subconsultants) across several geographies, face to face and remotely to ensure the collaborative approach results in successful delivery of the scope of works on time and budget.ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for at least the following areas and duties in your role:Coordinate with multi-functional design teams, including performing technical reviews to ensure coordinated technical deliverables aligning with scope and quality requirements.Produce and maintain project schedules using your planning experience and ability to utilise relevant scheduling software (MS Project, P6)Management of Project Initiation and Planning phases, including Project Management Plan, Design Management Plan, Stakeholder Management Plan, creation of WBS, Project Programme and BudgetManage the relationships between all project stakeholders to facilitate effective communications and outcomes.
