will support the Center of Excellence (CoE) team in product and process development activities, ensuring smooth execution of NPD (New Product Development) and Value Engineering (VE) projects. This role involves conducting analytical characterization of raw materials and finished products, preparing product prototypes at lab and pilot plant scales, and managing CoE laboratory equipment and material inventory. The incumbent will ensure compliance with safety and best practices, support product application trials, conduct shelf-life studies, and maintain accurate documentation. Additionally, they will collaborate closely with CoE managers and senior R&D assistants to facilitate efficient project execution.

Assist CoE Manager(s) in product and process development for NPD/VE projects, following established protocols.
Conduct analytical characterization of raw materials and finished products as per provided guidelines.
Support CoE operations by preparing product prototypes in the lab and, when needed, on a pilot scale.
Maintain and ensure proper functioning of CoE laboratory equipment.
Manage CoE materials store, ensuring safety compliance and best practices.
Monitor and maintain stock levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished products to prevent project delays.
Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of all materials and products.
Assist in product application trials under the direction of CoE Manager(s) and senior R&D assistants.
Conduct shelf-life studies for CoE-generated samples and competitor/reference products.
Maintain accurate documentation for daily tasks and responsibilities.

Work experience requirement
Preferred Experience
4+ years of experience in a comparable industrial function with 2+ years of experience in a comparable function in FMCG company.
R&D / QA / QC experience is strongly preferred.
Demonstrable computer skills are strongly preferred.
Qualification

High School / College Diploma (Mandatory).
Diploma in Food Technology or related field (Preferable).
