They work within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods and adhere to quality guidelines. The Associate NDT Tech should have basic skills in an analytical or scientific method or operational process and appropriate licenses/training certifications.Responsibilities:Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Determine conformity/non-conformity flaws and report accurately
Perform NDT examination of welds and materials (i.e., RT, UT, PT, MT) in accordance to written Project NDT plan, NDT Procedures, code, and contractual specification
Liaise with the assigned QC inspector to determine the completion of rectification work
Qualifications:Essential Qualifications and Education:
High School Diploma or relative degree
1+ year as NDT technician of relevant discipline
ASNT, PCN, or CSWIP Level II qualification
Proficient in the use of computer and Microsoft programs
Capable of performing & recording of daily equipment calibration of NDT equipment\'s as per the requirement of NDT procedures
Be proficient in assessing examination results accurately, sentencing welds and reporting same, according to the relevant code/spec acceptance criteria
