Role Summary
We are looking for an exceptional Associate to join our Middle East and North Africa team, based out of Rabat. The successful candidates will play an instrumental role in supporting TBI's projects in the region, across critical policy topics for governments. The Associate will provide ad-hoc support to in-country teams, be assigned to projects on an embedded basis with our clients, and support our Managers and Directors in conducting analyses for business development.
The ideal candidate will have public sector experience, either in government or through public sector management consulting with experience delivering strategy and policy projects for public sector clients. The scope of work will cover the wider government agenda in Morocco, focusing on key policy areas like public governance or overseeing the implementation of initiatives in sectors such as digital transformation, health, and education.

Key Responsibilities Associates will have the following responsibilities: Support TBI's role in delivering strategic direction, policy advice and delivery of projects to our government counterparts, spanning a broad range of topics and fluctuating over time, such as government organization and governance processes, public policy, digital, health and education. Conduct in-depth analyses and advise on key policy topics and international developments as needed to support the client's policymaking and decision-making on priority projects and enhance the government's ability to respond and adapt to global and regional trends. Engage with client counterparts for data gathering and establish relation of trust with counterparts, as a go-to-person for analytical abilities. Engage and work in close cooperation with the TBI team. Produce and own sections of presentations and reports destined to senior government leadership. When not deployed, the associate will work as a team with other consultants and subject matter experts in the Middle East and North Africa Hub to deliver projects for regional government clients or conduct research and analysis on a variety of topics, and document it in Word or PowerPoint reports. The Associate will report to a Senior Manager or Country Director within our growing team.
Person Specification Academics and experience Between 2 and 4 years of experience ideally - in public sector consulting, public sector organizations, or implementation-oriented areas of a large, private sector organization - with a track record of effective project delivery A graduate degree in public policy, economics, international relations or political sciences; under-graduate degrees and graduate degrees in other areas can be considered with relevant equivalent experience.
Work ethic and skills A proactive, self-motivated individual with a passion for achieving impact. Commitment to delivering high quality work, and ready to put in the necessary effort to achieve this within imparted deadlines. Ability to work independently, think strategically and produce deliverables, with attention to detail. Strong written communication and executive reporting skills including concise written PPT decks and reports are an advantage. A proven ability to collaborate with others, including people from different backgrounds and cultures. Business fluency in French and English required, Arabic preferred.
Client and environmental awareness
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; able to quickly establish TBI's credibility with the client. Ability to operate within sometimes sensitive political contexts and be attuned to potential areas of conflict or tension, applying sound judgement in all external engagements for TBI.
