Job Description

Job SummaryManage ship chartering operationsRoles & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with procurement/trading and operations to assess the requirement of vessel hiring.
  • Plan and buy FOB against competition of CNF at optimum cost ensuring all legal terms and conditions are included in charter contract.
  • Execute operations for FOB purchase and C&F purchase
  • Follow up with agents / shippers for timely delivery of cargo without any dispute
  • Manage post fixture activities
  • Conduct market research of all sectors of cargo.
KPIs
  • Optimum freight rate obtained for FOB purchases
  • Dispatch paid to shippers (Lowest)
  • Recovered dispatch from ship owner (maximum) for C&F purchases
  • Recover dispatch from shippers (Maximum)
  • On time dispatch of cargo
