Today, we\'re driving the energy transition with more than 30,000 of the brightest minds across 54 countries.Here, what you do matters.Job Overview:The Associate Hook Up Engineer understands the full contractual scope of work, contract type and milestone schedules and reviewing constructability and ensure work execution plan is based on the most productive option.Responsibilities:Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Understand and carries out the overall project inter-discipline coordination between members of the operations support groups, throughout one or more project phases of detail design, fabrication, offshore installation and hook-up
  • Carries out progress reporting on the project
  • Support Production Engineers in Conducting fabrication look ahead meetings and prioritizes material and drawings to suit
  • Support Production Engineers in documenting all scope of work changes (change orders) and coordinating AFC estimate updates
  • Support Production Engineers in solving technical problems and initiates site queries to ensure work disruption is minimized and productivity is optimized
  • Highlight any Production Engineering issues to Senior Production Engineer or Production Engineer
  • Coordinates wit MTO, warehouse, drafting teams to issue work packs
  • Support Production Engineers in Developing work pack index and following priorities to prepare Work Packages provided by Senior Production Engineer or Operations Engineer
  • Support Production Engineers in reviewing input deliverable dates (material & drawings) and advise impact to fabrication schedule
  • Support Production Engineers in Preparing project fabrication lessons learnt
  • Support Production Engineers in identifying project risks and opportunities
  • Coordinates with subcontractors for completion of works
  • Coordinates with the construction engineering team
  • Participates in QHSES initiatives and drives achieving objectives
  • Follow the company policies.
Reports to Senior Production Engineer or Fabrication Operations Engineer.Qualifications:Essential Qualifications and Education:
  • Education: Diploma / Engineering Bachelor\'s Degree with minimum of 1st class
  • Experience: Over 1 year as Trainee / Discipline Engineer in Petrochemical/ Oil & Gas/ Ship Building / Similar Construction industry as a discipline Engineer
Preferred Qualifications and Education:
  • Education: Engineering Bachelor\'s Degree with 1st class
  • Skills and Abilities: Interested and working knowledge for over 1 year on single or multiple disciplines for fabrication portion of oil & gas offshore structures like Topsides, Jacket or any mechanical background industries
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as Trainee / Discipline Engineer in Petrochemical/ Oil & Gas/ Similar Construction industry Fabrication Projects
  • Soft Skills: Self-motivated, Fast learner and enthusiastic
