As Advisory Analyst, this role is crucial in collaborating within finance organization as well as Advisory business partners. The Advisory business which consists of consulting, marketing services, and data products is the fastest growing VAS area. Responsibility areas cover different aspects of financial planning, analysis and reporting, driving and maintaining high standard of financial discipline, and constantly focusing on the existing processes improvement.2. Key areas of responsibility:Reporting and analysis:Prepare regular financial reports for internal stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics.Analyze actual financial results against budgeted or forecasted figures, providing insights into key drivers of performance differencesDrive month end closing by coordinating with the controllership team, analyzing and investigating general ledger activity to understand variances to budget and latest forecastBudgeting and planning:Participate in budget and forecast process for the function and data collection.Guide cost center managers so they are informed of their approved budgets & forecasts and their commitment to budget/forecast on a continuous basis.Analytical insight and process improvement:Identify and propose process improvement initiatives, suggest enhancements to streamline financial planning and analysis processes, leveraging relevant analytical techniques, AI and machine learning models.Provide insights from data and present results to stakeholders through a combination of reports, dashboards and innovative technologies.Drive forecasting accuracy by proactive management of functional revenues and expenses, exploring root cause that drive variances to plans, and suggest action plan to implement corrective actions.Business partnering:Develop trustworthy relationship with business partners to drive financial management, understand business dynamics, and provide financial insights to support decision-makingProvide analytical support as required for initiatives and ad hoc projects.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.QualificationsQualifications / Experiences
Bachelor\'s degree in finance (Accountancy / Business) with 1-3 years relevant post qualification experience, with solid experience in FP&A role
Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills, able to resolve tough business problems with well-structured analyses
Experience with sophisticated financial systems (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion, TM1) or data analytics
tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), plus experience with building dashboards for self-service analytics
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of commitment to meeting timelines.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
