Associate Engineer Fixed Field Maintenance

Job Description
Overview:1. Handle Fixed Network Operation & Maintenance activities includingoptical/electrical circuit Provision, Cessations, Re-routing & Network failures due to traffic & Hardware.2. Attend assigned major/non-routine tasks related to Core, Access & Fiber Network under supervision & guidance of seniors.3. Use various types of test equipment to localize & rectify faults.4. Perform installation of fiber optic equipment and ODF patch panels.5. Experience in transmission & IP equipment including Cisco routers, switches, SDH, DWDM, firewall, etc.6. Attend and clear faults reported by NOCs related to transmission & Fiber network using analyzer, light source & Power meter.7. Perform ODTR testing for locating FO cable faults and during cable outages.8. Support maintenance activities like acceptance testing (ATP, ACL etc.) of new FO Cables & network nodes.Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Diploma Degree in Engineering and/or Telecommunications and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 4 years experience in field operation and maintenance of Telecom networks.
- Preferred Language: English.
