We are looking for a Business Development Associate to join our team in Dubai.

This person will be directly supporting RMs and MDs (GM/JGM) for business development including marketing and planning activities, as well as full support of origination focused workflows, specifically to client and sector research, production of high quality specific /general pitch materials, modelling related to quasi M&A/complicated structured deals, and creation of business strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Being a part of front team, full support to RMs and MDs (GM&JGM) for:
  
  • deal origination focused workflows including creation of account plan/new idea for specific names based on client/industry research,
  • negotiation with client,
  • execution of transactions.
• Production of high quality marketing materials for specific clients and cross product pitch materials including response to RfPs which differentiate Mizuho from its competitors.
• Modelling of quasi M&A and complex structured deals
• Global coordination of relevant product departments
• Full support for sector research
• Full support for credit analysis for both of specific names and each country, and credit monitoring through cooperation with each credit analyst
• Engagement with planning of mid term country business strategy including EXP management plan and creation of internal presentation materials
• Comply with various regulations related to Mizuho business and internal rules
• Full support for any other ad-hoc job tasks to be requested by MDs

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent
• Great organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Customer-centric career experience
• Demonstrable ability to innovate, support change and problem solve
• Collaborative nature to contribute to a successful team performance
• Sound knowledge of the Banking Industry
• High level of computer literacy and skills in data manipulation / presentation
• Language skills are an asset, but not essential
