Client Advisory Group is a treasury practitioner-led team that helps Citi clients progress treasury practices and evolve corporate treasury functions to support enterprise growth and transformation.The Associate Advisor will support global Client Advisory seniors to manage client engagements, events and help develop forward looking thought leadership on Treasury and Finance best practices, with a particular focus on working capital management and digitalization. Additionally, the Associate will support the Client Advisory cluster lead to coordinate engagement with Sales leadership and delivery of our training agenda to both clients and internal stakeholders.The position calls for some expertise in corporate treasury and working capital management, and a good understanding of the strategic direction in these areas. A commercial perspective is necessary in order to contribute to the objectives of the business. Finally, a strategic mindset is needed.This position requires excellent written, oral communication skills, and ability to develop high impact presentations.Responsibilities:
Lead development of client specific material encompassing treasury and working capital management. This involves researching, attending client calls and helping to recommend best practice solutions in global treasury and working capital management
Assist to arrange and attend client meetings taking minutes and actioning follow up items
Create thought leadership articles and presentations based on client engagements, leveraging partnerships with other advisory teams (internally and externally), third party vendors and the world-leading research capabilities of Citi.
There will be a particular focus on digital and fast growth clients across multiple industries and a requirement to understand how the evolving treasury landscape may impact these clients and their treasury structures
Have a base knowledge on challenges of operating in highly regulated emerging markets
Assist to define and quantify segment-based positioning for treasury advisory, focusing on digital organizations
Provide insights to the development of best practice analytical solutions for clients, considering implications of corporate structures and banking solutions
Manage metrics and reporting for Client Advisory globally associated with client engagements and team activity
Qualifications:
Relevant experience within BFSI
Consulting in corporate treasury fields, or sales/relationship management in financial services is an advantage
Education:
Bachelors/University degree is required
