Foreman

to oversee the operations of our factory/workshop. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in automotive fabrication, electrical work, and workshop management, who can effectively lead a team of technicians while ensuring high-quality workmanship and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:Workshop & Team Management

Supervise and coordinate daily workshop activities to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency. Lead and manage a team of technicians, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring high performance. Provide technical guidance and hands-on assistance in cutting, drilling, welding, and other fabrication tasks. Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest quality and safety standards.

Technical & Hands-on Work

Perform and oversee various fabrication tasks, including cutting, drilling, welding, and assembling parts. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mechanical and electrical components. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.

Inventory & Record-Keeping

Manage and maintain inventory of workshop materials, tools, and spare parts. Monitor stock levels and place orders to avoid shortages. Maintain accurate records of technician working hours and job progress. Prepare and submit periodic reports (daily, weekly) to management regarding workshop activities, project status, and workforce efficiency.

Customer Interaction & Communication

Occasionally liaise with customers to provide basic updates on ongoing projects. Ensure that customer requirements are properly understood and implemented by the team. Communicate effectively with management to report any operational challenges or requirements.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in an automotive workshop. Strong background in automotive fabrication, electrical work, and mechanical assembly. Experience handling cutting, drilling, welding, and similar hands-on technical tasks. Ability to manage and motivate a team, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Good organizational and inventory management skills.
