:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Assistant Resident Engineer - Civil & Landscape to join our team!What You\'ll Be Doing:Performs well-defined field engineering assignments primarily involving constructability reviews and the observation of work in progressMaintains first-level quality assurance to confirm that the installation of all work within his/her discipline is in accordance with the plans, specifications, and industry standardsProvides resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline; coordinates application of solutionsReviews and interprets discipline design drawings and specifications to ensure current revision level and correct technical execution of the workEstablishes and maintains liaison with the discipline design engineering staffMonitors discipline construction schedules and assists in progress appraisalProvides schedule and progress appraisal data to the Resident EngineerMonitors material procurement and deliveries to ensure timeliness in support of construction activities and schedule within the assigned disciplineEnsures that tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented in accordance with approved procedures.Collaborates with construction management to eliminate any hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of employeesEnsures that personnel of the assigned group engage in safe work practices in compliance with site-specific safety procedures and industry standardsMaintains a daily log for permanent record of project construction, as well as discipline data for the final project turnover and report.Maintains construction technical catalogs, supplier data, and other literature pertaining to the projectReview Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s submissions.Supervise and assist site inspection staff, conduct inspection if necessary.Prepare progress report as deemed necessaryPerforms other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriateWhat Required Skills You\'ll Bring:Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or related filed.Minimum of 8+ years post graduate experience in site supervision, and construction management of infrastructure, roads & landscape projectsDemonstrable experience in all aspects of supervision on Landscaping Projects, Roads and general infrastructure projects preferably in Abu Dubai.Familiar with Authorities regulations and approval process.Good experience with DMT or ADM projects is an advantage.Must be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc. and any project specific engineering and construction relevant software.Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.Requires a working knowledge of engineering and construction-related processes, as well as industry practicesWhat Desired Skills You\'ll Bring:Must have a sound knowledge about contractual relationships.Must be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc. and any project specific engineering and construction relevant software.Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.Keep necessary records and as-built records and take charge of the handing over of the utility works to the respective service authorities and assist the contractor to obtain necessary.Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
