International Community Schools (ICSchools) is seeking an outstanding Assistant Registrar/ Admission to join our team in Abu Dhabi for the upcoming Academic Year 2024 - 2025. This role is pivotal in managing the enrolment and registration process for the school, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for prospective and current students and their families. Key Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility: Manage enrollments and registrations at ICSchools, collaborating closely with the Senior Leadership Team and registrar. Data Management: Maintain accurate data on applications, enrollments, and registrations, providing daily updates. Parent Communication: Meet with enrolled parents to explain registration procedures, curriculum, fee structure, ADEK regulations, and ensure efficient completion of all documentation. Inquiry Handling: Respond promptly and courteously to registration inquiries via phone calls and emails. Assessment Process: Oversee the assessment process with the academic team to ensure enrolment efficiency. Waiting List Management: Manage the waiting list (if applicable), maintaining regular communication with parents and updating them on application status. Student Records: Maintain registration files for all new and existing students. Compliance: Stay updated on ADEK rules and regulations to ensure compliance during enrolment and registration. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with the Registrar. Positive Environment: Ensure parent-facing areas are attractive, uncluttered, and convey a welcoming atmosphere. Meetings: Attend SLT meetings when required to provide enrolment updates. Enrollment Strategies: Collaborate with the Marketing team to identify strategies for attracting new enrollments and retaining students. Re-registration Management: Manage the re-registration process for existing parents with the marketing team, providing regular updates to the Head of Marketing and Principal. Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly reports and projections on enrollments for the Head of Marketing. School Promotion: Attend networking events and organize/attend enrolment events to promote ICSchools. Nursery Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with nurseries. School Representation: Represent ICSchools' ethos and standard of excellence to all prospective parents. Compliance and Conduct: Ensure adherence to ICSchools' procedures and codes of conduct. Dedication and Initiative: Exhibit effort and energy beyond the typical workday. Perform additional duties as assigned by managers/supervisors.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree.
Minimum Experience: Experience as Admissions/Registrar in the education field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-focused role in the region.
Strong student affairs experience.
Previous experience in data management.
Fluent in English (written and oral).Strong interpersonal skills to aid in daily contact with parents in a diverse, multi-cultural environment.
Excellent office management skills.
