Job Description

:

Analyzing drawings and prepares BOQ with specifications.

Prepare the estimation with a detailed break up possibly using estimation models and tools.

Coordinate with subcontractors to get the price for various elements within the project.

Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications and related documents and payment statements.

Identifies labour Progress, material, time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents

Presents prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical descriptive information.

Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data.

Understanding drawings and joinery technical issues

Collaborate with the procurement team to obtain competitive prices for materials and equipment.

Review and checking the BOQ at the starting of the work.

Prepare the Eng. Measurement for the quantities of the finished works.

Prepare lists of the site needs (material, workers, technicians)

Calculate the remuneration of the subcontractors, workers, equipment's etc.

Prepare the detailed reports describing the situation of the item's quantities, (Plus or minus the contract BOQ)

Checking site progress (visit site), record progress and transfer onto monthly payment applications

Gradually working up to contractual agreements

Required Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent experience.

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor & Estimator in UAE building construction projects.

Advanced Proficiency in AutoCAD, Plan Swift, MS Office.

Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

In-depth knowledge of construction materials and industry practices.

Effective communication, Quantity Surveyor Civil skills and negotiation skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.

Must be Available in UAE and Willing to join Immediately

Good knowledge in Tender, BOQ, Pre or Post Contract.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
