Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Job Description
A quantity surveyor (QS) is a professional in the construction industry responsible to prepare the WIR with measurement in the construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Value Engineering : Identifying opportunities to improve project value while maintaining quality and performance.
• Site Measurements : Conducting site visits to measure and assess ongoing work and ensure compliance with plans.
• Reporting : Providing regular financial reports and forecasts to project stakeholders.
• Dispute Resolution : Assisting in resolving disputes related to costs, contracts, and claims.
Skills Required:
• Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Attention to Detail : Precision in measurements and cost estimations.
• Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
• Negotiation : Skills to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.
• Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with construction software and tools.
Qualifications:
• Education : Requires a degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
