Assistant Quality Engineer

Job Description
Our client, a 100-year-old company providing filtration solutions is looking to hire an Assistant Quality Engineer for their office based in Abu Dhabi.Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect fabricated components.
- Prepare inspection reports.
- Check material test certificates and inspection reports from suppliers, subcontractors etc.
- Assist in preparation for client audits and third-party inspections.
- Any other task assigned.
- Comply with all processes and procedures (HR, Quality, HSE, Finance, IT, Procurement, Operations) which include compliance with all applicable rules and regulations of the local labor law.
- Employee shall comply with requirements listed in Companys QHSE Management System.
- Technical & Mechanical:
- Good knowledge of fabrication, welding & painting.
- Knowledge of raw materials, quality control.
- Ability to interpret Fabrication drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic Industrial Safety Awareness
- UAE Driving license.
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- CSWIP 3.1, NDT Level -II (RT, PT, UT, MPI, VT) is a must. NACE or BGAS certification will be an added advantage.
- 3 to 5 years of quality control inspection of steel Fabrication for equipment & Structure related to Oil & gas, Petrochemical & Power Generation
