About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as an Assistant QHSE Manager. This role is integral to supporting the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) department in maintaining and enhancing compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your contributions will help ensure a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible workplace.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of QHSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of QHSE documentation, records, and reports.
• Coordinate with department heads to implement and uphold quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Facilitate QHSE training for staff to raise awareness and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Assist in the investigation of incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures.
• Participate in risk assessments and suggest improvements to minimise workplace hazards.
• Monitor and report on QHSE performance metrics to senior management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QHSE framework.
### Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in QHSE roles or similar environments.
• Familiarity with QHSE management systems, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
