:Works under the supervision of licensed psychologists and plays a supporting role in providing psychological services to clients or patients.Responsibilities: * Conducts assessments, screenings, and standardized tests to gather data about patients\' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
Maintains accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with relevant regulations and ethical standards.
Assists in the implementation of therapeutic interventions and treatment plans designed by senior psychologists.
Provides emotional support, psychoeducation, and counseling to patients or clients under the guidance and supervision of a licensed psychologist.
Assists in research projects, data collection, and statistical analysis related to psychological studies or clinical trials.
Collaborates with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Assists in the facilitation of group therapy sessions or support groups as part of the treatment plan.
Contributes to community outreach programs, workshops, or seminars to promote mental health awareness and education.
Stays updated with the latest research, therapies, and techniques in the field of psychology through continuous learning and training.
Performs related duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
To follow appropriate international guidelines, DOH regulations and Joint Commission International norms while treating or managing patients as well as while discharging their professional duties.
Qualifications: * Bachelor\'s or Master\'s Degree in Psychology or a related field from a recognized institution.
Licensure as an Assistant Psychologist or Psychological Assistant, by Department of Health, Abu Dhabi.
Knowledge of psychological assessment tools and therapeutic techniques.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Empathy and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compliance with ethical guidelines and patient confidentiality standards.
Proficiency in Arabic and English preferred.
Any additional certifications or training relevant to the specific role or patient population may be an advantage.
Strictly adheres to organization\'s regulations and policies especially those related to infection control, patient safety, OSHAD, DOH, JCI and ISO.
