The Assistant Project Accountant supports the Project Accountant and the project team in managing the financial aspects of various projects. This role involves assisting in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing financial insights to aid project decision-making.
Job Responsibilities:
• Financial Support : Assisting project managers with financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Record Keeping : Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation for projects.
• Cost Tracking : Monitoring project costs and expenses, and comparing them to budgets.
• Invoicing : Assisting in the preparation and submission of invoices to clients.
• Compliance : Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Reporting : Preparing regular financial reports for project managers and senior management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a project-based environment in Middle East.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
