ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN MATHEMATICS (ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE)

JOB PURPOSE The College of Sciences at the University of Sharjah seeks to appoint a candidate with a PhD degree in mathematics with excellent artificial intelligence (AI) experience and a proven research record to join the College in Fall 2025/2026.





MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES & EXPECTATIONS Main responsibilities include teaching, research and community service. The candidate is expected to :



• Teach undergraduate and graduate students.
• Contribute to the development of new courses/programs.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Conduct scientific research that serve the community.
•


REQUIRED SKILLS • University teaching experience of at least 2 years.
• Experience in credit hour system.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Ph.D. in Mathematics from an accredited, well-known university.
• Evidence of commitment to excellence in teaching.
• Teaching experience in mathematics for artificial intelligence (AI).
• Teaching experience in both traditional and online learning environments.
• Publication record in peer-reviewed Scopus journals.
• Experience in undergraduate, graduate students' supervision.
