Responsibilities

:

Sourcing and Supplier Management

: Identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities. Negotiate contracts, terms, and prices with suppliers. Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and monitor their performance.

Procurement Planning

: Develop and implement procurement strategies based on the company's needs. Forecast and plan for future procurement requirements.

Order Management

: Prepare and issue purchase orders for required goods and services. Ensure that orders are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Budget Management

: Monitor and control the procurement budget. Work closely with finance teams to ensure compliance with financial controls.

Quality Control

: Ensure that purchased goods and services meet specified quality standards. Conduct regular reviews and audits of suppliers to maintain high standards.

Record Keeping and Reporting

: Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions. Provide regular reports on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance.

Compliance and Regulations

: Ensure procurement practices adhere to legal and regulatory requirements. Stay up to date with market trends, legal changes, and best practices in procurement.

Inventory Management

: Coordinate with inventory teams to ensure a smooth flow of goods and prevent shortages. Help with stock audits and adjustments when necessary.

Skills & Qualifications

:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing. Strong knowledge on UAE market is highly preferrable Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience. Familiarity with procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards governing procurement activities.
