We are seeking a skilled Assistant Mechanic with specialized experience in hydraulic systems, particularly in the maintenance and repair of transit mixers used in the concrete industry. The ideal candidate will contribute to our team by ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems on transit mixers. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hydraulic vehicles to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs, adhering to safety and quality standards. Collaborate with senior mechanics to support complex repair tasks and projects. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities. Assist in ordering and managing parts inventory. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanics or hydraulics is a plus. Proven experience with hydraulic systems, specifically in transit mixers or similar vehicles. Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hydraulic tools and equipment.
