Job Summary: As the Assistant Manager - Merchandising based in Dubai, UAE, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue and profitability through effective merchandising strategies. You will be responsible for overseeing assortment planning, inventory management, and visual merchandising initiatives to ensure alignment with company goals and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze sales data and trends to evaluate the effectiveness of merchandising strategies.
• Develop and implement initiatives to drive sales growth and achieve targets.
• Monitor gross margin performance and identify opportunities to optimize profitability.
• Negotiate pricing strategies with vendors and suppliers to maximize margins.
• Track sell-through rates and inventory turnover to optimize stock levels.
• Implement inventory management strategies to minimize excess inventory and stock-outs.
• Maintain balanced stock levels to ensure adequate product availability.
• Adjust inventory levels based on sales forecasts and seasonal trends.
• Develop and enforce visual merchandising guidelines to enhance brand representation and customer experience.
• Ensure consistent implementation of merchandising standards across stores and online platforms.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and sales to align merchandising strategies with overall business objectives.
• Lead and mentor merchandising team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Merchandising, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in merchandising in a retail environment. Experience in Beauty Products would be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales performance data and make strategic recommendations.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of optimizing gross margins and vendor relationships.
• Solid understanding of visual merchandising principles and their impact on customer engagement.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Leadership capabilities with experience in managing and developing a team.

Pay: AED13,000.00 - AED17,000.00 per month
