Job Description

POSITION OBJECTIVEThe Job holder will be responsible for organizing and monitoring shipments, customs clearance, and vendor payment. Providing end to end visibility from order to receiving.DO Key Responsibilities1.
  • Managing Import, Export, Cross Trade, and local Logistics Co-ordinations.
  • GCC ports customs documentation, Regulations and customs clearing process.
  • Mainland, JAFZA Customs Documentations and Regulations.
  • Dubai Trade portal E-Mirsal II etc.
  • Letter of Credit (Trade Finances) opening and collection of documents.
  • COO processing and Cargo insurance Claims.
  • Managing Pre shipment process, carrier nomination and coordination.
  • Monitor pending order follow up. Collaborating with Buying and Planning department for handling default shipments.
  • Routing of shipments, nominating service providers to maximize economy with best transit time.
  • Provide visibility on each stage of shipments.
  • INCOTERMS 2010 and HS CODES
  • Prepare and publish supply chain MIS reports like lead time analysis, order status report, optimization of freight.
  • Coordinate, assign, monitor and review the work of individuals engaged in Imports related duties.
2.Must Have:
  • 5+ years experience in supply chain - import and export process.
  • Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Knowledge of freight forwarding regulations, customs procedures, and international trade compliance requirements
