About the role




As the Assistant Manager, Government Relations, you will oversee and manage the full spectrum of visa-related activities for Atlantis, including employment, residence, corrections, cancellations, and visit visas for full-time colleagues and short-term contractors. Your role will involve liaising with key government entities and immigration organizations, ensuring that all visa processes are completed efficiently and in compliance with regulations.


You will act as the external representative of Atlantis, maintaining strong working relationships with government bodies to facilitate the resort's needs. Daily tasks include visiting government offices to complete visa transactions, arranging medical appointments, and handling medical tests required for residence visas. Additionally, you will manage the submission and receipt of colleagues' original passports, signed Arabic contracts, and various visa documents, including corrections, service letters, labor cards, and refunds.


Your responsibilities also include overseeing the application and renewal of residence and employment visas for colleagues and their families, managing absconder immigration printouts, and ensuring timely visa cancellations. Monthly tasks involve reconciling government entity visa portals, returning cancellation and exit papers, and preparing detailed reports on key issues.


Collaboration with the HR Talent Development Team and HR Admin Department is crucial to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires. You will also use HRMS, and visa tracker reporting to monitor visa statuses and prevent fines for overstays. Additional duties may be assigned by the Manager, Government Relations.




About you




The successful Assistant Manager, Government Relations candidate will have worked in a similar role for a minimum of 2-3 years' and have extensive knowledge and experience working with local government authorities and have a depth understanding of visa processes and the UAE law.
