Assistant Manager- Commercial and Contracts
Description
Reporting to the Director BD, you will be assigned responsibility for managing the day-to-day BD commercial activities, across the UAE. The Assistant Manager- Commercial & Contracts supports all aspects of the business development lifecycle from pricing through commercial finalisations by supporting specific pursuits and maintaining the infrastructure of Farnek's business. These responsibilities include a significant amount of coordination, collaboration, and timeline management in a dynamic team environment.
This position requires a high degree of organization with the ability to engage with colleagues across departments and at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, to support business development systems, processes, and pursuits. The Assistant Manager- Commercial & Contracts is responsible for maintaining the cost to company master, contracts database, preparing related reports, FM industry costs and pricing model analysis and updating.
Accountabilities• Undertake cost and pricing calculations for all new and current contract costings;
• Ensure a consistent approach is taken to all calculations on cost and price ensuring consistency and best practice
• Ensure any potential contract risk is appropriately costed into the proposal;
• Prepare contract budgets and cash flow forecasts for each proposal
• To review pricing models and costings and ensure they are in line with FM Industry rates both AUH and DXB;
• Provide support to the Finance and HR teams in understanding the cost allocation for projects
• Review the CTC and cost inputs quarterly with relevant Departments and Senior Commercial & Contracts Manager ensuring the CTC is up-to-date
• Develop innovative ways to price new proposals - not just efficiencies but also that of different ways to cost in order to remain competitive
• Develop and implement mobilization packs for all new contract wins
• Verify award letters with actual final commercial submission
• Review and make necessary modifications to the Bid Tracker
• Maintain and update the bid pipeline manpower report for Management information.

Education/Qualification• University degree preferred.
Experience• Minimum 5 years in similar field.
• Excellent knowledge of UAE labour law and exit process
• Excellent excel proficiency
