Mandarin Language Assistant will normally work within the classroom and may work with individual children, small groups or the whole class.The ideal candidateTo be considered for this position, you must have:

• previous and relevant experience of working as a Mandarin Language Assistant, preferably in international schools
• outstanding communication skills both in English and Mandarin Chinese
• ability to manage time effectively to ensure all administrative tasks are completed
• drive for continuous professional development and further training
• a good rapport with young people and a genuine passion for education
• excellent interpersonal skills
• a friendly, honest and professional manner
• strong English skills - spoken and written
• a secure knowledge of Microsoft package (outlook, word, excel, power point etc) and online teaching platforms including MS Teams, Zoom and Seesaw
• knowledge of other languages at B2 level optional

Only candidates with the relevant experience and specialist qualifications will be shortlisted for interview.The role is for 19th August 2024 start.
