We are seeking a highly skilled and professional HSE Officer with a background in Mechanical Engineering to join our team in Musaffah. The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee and manage employee duty rotations, leave and attendance management, overtime adjustments, and the administration of annual leave. Additionally, the HSE Officer will play a key role in the training and development of both new and existing employees, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary safety knowledge and skills to comply with company standards and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate must have proficiency in Hindi, possess relevant HSE certifications, and demonstrate a strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental management in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:



Duty Rotation & Employee Scheduling:



Develop, implement, and manage effective duty rotation schedules to ensure optimal workforce coverage while adhering to safety regulations and operational needs. Continuously monitor and review duty rosters, making necessary adjustments to align with changing operational requirements.

Leave and Attendance Management:



Oversee the management of employee leave, including annual leave, sick leave, and personal leave, ensuring that all requests are accurately processed and documented. Ensure attendance records are maintained accurately and monitor trends to address any attendance-related issues. Administer the annual leave adjustment process, ensuring compliance with company policies and fair distribution of leave entitlements. Implement measures to track attendance, absenteeism, and leave patterns, ensuring alignment with operational needs.

Overtime (OT) Management:



Monitor and manage overtime hours to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, while addressing operational needs. Ensure that overtime requests are properly documented and approved, with accurate tracking and compensation for employees.

Training and Development:



Develop and conduct comprehensive induction training for new employees, ensuring they are familiar with safety protocols, machinery operations, and company policies. Organize and facilitate ongoing training sessions for existing employees to reinforce safety practices, enhance skills, and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:



Ensure the implementation and enforcement of health, safety, and environmental policies in line with local and international regulations. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments, ensuring that mechanical systems and operational processes meet safety standards

Documentation and Reporting:



Maintain accurate and comprehensive records related to duty rotations, attendance, leave balances, overtime, and training activities. Prepare and submit periodic reports to senior management on key metrics such as attendance, leave utilization, OT hours, and training completion. Ensure compliance with all relevant documentation requirements, maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.

Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Mandatory HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent). Minimum of 1 years of experience in an HSE role. Demonstrated experience in managing employee duty rotations, attendance, leave, and overtime adjustments. Fluency in Hindi is a mandatory requirement. Proficiency in English (both written and spoken). Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
