We are now seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Head Teacher for Year 1-3 to join our leadership team.Role OverviewThe Assistant Head Teacher for Year 1-3 will play a key role in supporting the Head Teacher in leading and managing the early primary phase. The successful candidate will ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and student progress while fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and strategic direction for Grades 1-3, ensuring excellent academic outcomes and student well-being.
Support and mentor teaching staff, promoting innovative and effective teaching strategies.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing interventions where necessary.
Work collaboratively with parents, staff, and the wider school community to create a supportive learning environment.
Lead curriculum planning, assessment, and staff development for early primary years.
Support behavior management strategies and pastoral care for students.
Assist with school-wide initiatives, policies, and administrative duties as part of the senior leadership team.
SkillsEssential Requirements
Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting.
Proven experience in a leadership or management role within education.
Strong knowledge of early years curriculum, assessment, and pedagogy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate both staff and students.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
A postgraduate qualification in education or leadership (e.g., NPQSL, Masters in Education).
Experience working in an international or diverse school setting.
A track record of driving school improvement and enhancing student outcomes.
