As an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager duties include managing the day-to-day operations, developing menus, purchasing supplies, training and supervising staff, maintaining health and safety standards, and implementing strategies to maximize sales and profitability, your role will include key responsibilities such as:
• Monitor guest feedback in relation to service, products, and promotions
• Oversee all the training activities of the Food & Beverage Department in conjunction with the Employee Development Department.
• Review and control the weekly payroll and overtime sheets for all the Food & Beverage outlets and monitor them according to the budgets established.
• Consult all outlet managers on operating requirements and quality standards
• Be proactive during service peak times maintaining a highly visible profile in outlets
• Confer with the Management on reports, forecasts, budgets, marketing plans, festivals, and special promotions
• Keep abreast of competitive trends, new products, and the legislation requirement.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in the hospitality industry, with an emphasis on food and beverages
Culinary or food service management degree may be advantageous.
In-depth knowledge of the food industry.
Strong working knowledge of related computer software, including restaurant management software.
Ability to adhere to budgets and meet financial targets.
Exceptional organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to forecast food and beverage needs.
Excellent customer service skills
Great delegation skills.
Willing to relocate to Fujairah
