You will assist in the effective operation of the Reservations Department to meet the business goals of the hotel, according to instructions given by the Revenue Director. You will manage incoming reservation requests to avoid a backlog, ensure daily trace reports and follow-up systems are being used effectively, and maintain effective office administrative procedures within the department to detect and safeguard against double bookings, non-guaranteed bookings, filing errors, and other inaccuracies. You will also ensure the smooth running of the hotel telephone system, handling all incoming and outgoing calls efficiently as per hotel standards, and provide a professional and customer-focused response to guests, adding value to make their stay memorable. Qualifications Minimum one year experience with Hotel Reservations or Rooms Division Working knowledge of hotel operations' available technology (PMS & RMS) Understands the dynamics of regional and local markets, and all distribution channels.
