Position Title: Assistant Cost Auditor - FMCG Job Summary: The Assistant Cost Auditor assists in examining, evaluating, and verifying the cost-related aspects of business operations. Working closely with the Cost Auditor, this role contributes to ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies, while also identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements. Responsibilities: 1. Audit Support: \xc2\xb7 Assist in conducting cost audits in accordance with established procedures and standards. \xc2\xb7 Gather, organize, and analyze financial data, cost records, and other relevant documents. \xc2\xb7 Verify the accuracy and completeness of cost information through detailed examination and analysis. 2. Compliance Assurance: \xc2\xb7 Help ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards related to cost accounting and reporting. \xc2\xb7 Assist in identifying areas of potential non-compliance and recommending corrective actions. 3. Cost Analysis: \xc2\xb7 Support in performing cost analyses to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations. \xc2\xb7 Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and recommending strategies for cost optimization. 4. Documentation and Reporting: \xc2\xb7 Prepare audit working papers, reports, and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations. \xc2\xb7 Maintain accurate and organized documentation of audit procedures, results, and supporting evidence. 5. Cross-functional Collaboration: \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, accounting, and operations, to gather information and facilitate audit processes. \xc2\xb7 Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure understanding of audit objectives, processes, and outcomes.
