Position: Assistant Cook
Location: Small South Indian Cafeteria

Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Assistant Cook to join our small South Indian cafeteria. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Chef in preparing authentic South Indian dishes, ensuring high-quality food preparation and smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation:
• Prepare ingredients for South Indian dishes like dosa, idli, sambar, chutneys, biriyani, and other menu items.
• Assist in cooking meals as per recipes and quality standards.
• Support to Head Chef:
• Follow instructions from the Head Chef to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Maintain proper cooking techniques and presentation of food.
• Hygiene and Cleanliness:
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized at all times.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards strictly.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as an Assistant Cook or in a similar role, preferably in South Indian cuisine.
• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and South Indian dishes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to cleanliness and food safety.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with preparing a variety of South Indian dishes.
• Flexibility to assist in other kitchen tasks as required.

Work Hours:
Flexible schedule, including mornings and evenings, based on business needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 per month
