We are looking for an assistant cook to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
• Support the head chef and sous chef in various kitchen tasks and special projects.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and used properly.
• Adapt to changing menu requirements and dietary restrictions for catering orders.
• Open to learning and training.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role in a restaurant or catering environment.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
