Assistant Construction Manager (Landscape)

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Assistant Construction Manager (Landscape)** to join our team! In this role, you will get to support the management of on-site field construction activities for large landscape projects."
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Assist the Project Manager/Construction Manager in managing on-site field construction activities for assigned packages.
+ Monitor the construction supervision team's performance to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
+ Help manage project timelines and budgets, identifying and addressing risks or issues.
+ Develop mitigation strategies and prepare/review daily and weekly progress reports.
+ Coordinate responses to RFIs and oversee the processing of change orders.
+ Collaborate with the Project Manager/Construction Manager to recommend progress payments.
+ Maintain strong relationships with clients and the community, ensuring open communication.
+ Oversee the technical aspects of the project, working closely with consultants and contractors.
+ Plan construction activities, prioritize milestones, and ensure schedule compliance.
+ Develop and implement mitigation measures in the event of delays.
+ Ensure compliance with the project execution plan, health and safety plan, and quality assurance/quality control plans.
+ Prepare periodic reports summarizing construction activities and project progress.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ 4-year degree in Engineering (Civil/Agricultural Engineering/Landscape Architecture or a related technical field)..
+ Minimum of 12 years of related work experience providing construction and project management services.
+ Experience in the construction of large Landscape Projects.
+ Proven ability to perform in a management capacity.
+ Strong working knowledge of landscape, engineering, and construction-related processes.
+ Familiarity with CAD and other PC software packages typically used in engineering and construction.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
+ Strong leadership potential with the ability to perform in a lead capacity on a project.
+ Must hold MME/MMUP/UPDA certification.
