Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Engineering Department\'s Management and smooth Operation of all the facilities in the Hotel.
  • Efficient management of the engineering department Budget.
  • Renovation Project Management
  • Energy saving management programs
  • Management of documentation - records and reports
  • Offer technical support services 24 hours
  • Regular update on EHS policies and safety procedures
  • Ensure statutory requirements/ certification of the hotel are completed on time
  • Contractors supervision to ensure the technical proficiency, timely completion with cost effectiveness
  • Keep track of the AMC agreements and warranty periods
  • Management of PPM program.
  • Compliance to Food Safety, Sharjah Municipality guidelines and HACCP standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering, from a reputed university
  • Post graduate studies in similar subjects are highly recommended
  • 3-5 years of experience in the hospitality sector - age not more than 35 years
  • At least 2 years of experience in a management role, preferably within a reputed 4/5* resort
  • Candidate must be committed to living in the northern emirates
  • Strong command over the Rooms and F&B operations
  • Good understanding of market segments, facilities management, procurement functions, pricing strategies as well as sales & marketing methods
KEY SKILLS:
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Dynamic personality and creative mindset
  • Full proficiency in English
