With an array of international dining destinations and full-service events facilities, Dusit Thani Dubai, hotel in Dubai UAE offers comfort and convenience for business and leisure guests. sUnder the direct supervision of the Engineering Director/Chief Engineer, is responsible for assuming the full duties and responsibilities of the Engineering Director/Chief Engineer in his absence: maintenance of the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s plant equipment and machinery according to the company POMEC, Safety and Emergency Standards, Policies and SOP\xe2\x80\x99s.Supervises/controls the activities of the shift Engineer.
Inspects all plant operations equipment and machinery for faults, cleanliness and other requirements, makes adjustments for optimum operating efficiency.
Attends to plant projects and overhauls; report to the superior for work progress.
Prepares and maintains preventive maintenance; checks lists or instructions sheets, listing of critical spare parts and overall review of annual programming or overhauls.
Monitors stocks of critical spare parts as these conform to preventive maintenance requirements.
Ensures the continuous supply of power, hot and cold domestic water, pressured firewater, chilled water, compressed air softened water and other services.
Follows up all Government requirements regarding annual inspections and operating permits for the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s mechanical and electrical equipment.
Performs other related duties and special activities from time to time.
