JOB PURPOSE The College of Dental Medicine at the University of Sharjah is seeking a well-qualified candidate for a full-time position in Oral Surgery to start in the academic year 2024/2025.



The suitable applicant should have a proven record of teaching and research in his field, as the College develops its taught postgraduate education and forges a research excellency culture and aspires to be the leading dental school in the Gulf region.







MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES & EXPECTATIONS • The appointee shall deliver didactic lectures/seminars to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Supervise the research work of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Start a productive research program in the Oral Surgery field.
• The appointee will also participate and collaborate in multidisciplinary research in the College's Research Groups.

The appointee will also be involved in university and community services.
•


REQUIRED SKILLS • Ability to establish productive research projects in the field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• BDS or DDS, and PhD or equivalent doctoral degree.
• Postgraduate training and experience in Oral Surgery.
• Experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
• Proven record of excellent research publications.
