Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Perform financial data entry and maintenance of accounting records
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with financial analysis and variance explanations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Proficient in financial report writing and interpretation
- Familiarity with financial statement preparation and analysis
- Previous experience in public accounting or governmental accounting is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
