JOB Summary
Manage and oversee all aspects of the supply chain operations, including purchasing, warehouse and inventory, yard maintenance, assets, customs, import/export, planning, development, logistics, and distribution
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Analyze and advise departments, through reporting and communication, on planning strategies for procurement, inventory control, logistics, distribution, import/export issues, and asset management · Ensures collaboration with stakeholders to identify needs and ensure buying channels, inventory stocking and inbound - outbound transportation are arranged to meet operational needs. · Ensures Procurement supply chain activities are managed to meet business and customer needs. · Establishes supply base and manages procurement supply chain process for optimal business results. · Communicate objectives to line managers and key personnel reflecting the company's goals and give direction in order to obtain the results · Analyze all processes within departments for possible cost reductions and identifying waste costs · Manage relationships with local and International vendors for prompt services leading to reduced wait times · Train, develop, and assist subordinates in all departments that fall under the supply chain management. · Review and analyze processes for quicker process times and overall effectiveness · Implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in accordance with NDIL · Generate competitive advantage for internal clients at local market and will promote Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, complying with the company's safety program and adherence to mainstays. · Oversee logistics and transportation of repairs and supplies to and from all rigs and repair shops. · Ensures compliance with the local laws and Internal Control requirements with employee and supplier performance. · Lead and execute Cost Management Initiatives to achieve objectives resulting in cost improvement and process optimization · Communicate with other areas as well as HOU in order to effectively communicate issues and identify root causes for valid solutions · Accomplish consistent improvement in performance of Operations and rig support by monitoring lead times, inventory, import/export, asset management, and purchasing. · Attend weekly/monthly meetings and Conference calls, and submit reports identifying issues in the area as well as specific examples in order to effectively resolve the issues · Provide monthly reports to key stakeholders to summarize and update on issues and possible resolutions to be discussed at Management Meeting. · Conducts supplier performance reviews and looks at data over long periods of time to see trends and issues that may impact the future business model within country. · Direct responsibility for team leadership and management of training programs and may manage PSC Operations. · Responsible for various managerial functions including interviewing applicants, training employees, directing and assessing subordinate work, performance management, setting work schedules, and handling employee grievances. · Responsible for making decisions regarding the hiring and firing of employees. Responsible for the overall healthy balance sheet, margin improvement, talent management, compliance, and process efficiency to establish supply chain as the trusted business partner of its stakeholders · Must have strong product knowledge of drilling equipment. · Negotiate, execute and manage global agreements · Perform spend analysis to identify and target commodities for potential savings · Develop alternative sources, ensuring continuity of supply, consistency of quality and competitive pricing. · Advise management of market conditions and supplier base activity, which could affect pricing and/or delivery. · Contributes to NCS Purchasing and departmental goals and objectives through proactive purchasing that lead to lower TCO and improved customer satisfaction. · Participate on strategic development and implementation projects and participate as assigned on special projects. · Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. · Excellent customer relationship and communication skills verbal and written. · Flexibility to solve different types of challenges.
Minimum Qualifications / SKILLS
· Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience), preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Operations Management OR 10 - 15 or more years' experience with at least 5 years as an asset supply chain manager · 10+ years' work experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain, procurement or related field with 4 years of supervisory experience

· Recent practical area or regional asset supply chain management experience; preferably international for a minimum of 10 years · Outstanding cross-functional leadership and communication skills; willing to challenge the status quo and make difficult decisions, communicating effectively with senior management of all business units. · Collaborative facilitator. · Ability to build credibility, get buy-in and commitment with internal and external stakeholders · Substantial completion of a recognized program in SCM or purchasing · Proven ability to prioritize tasks and effectively handle details. · Excellent ability to work in a team environment. · Strong supply chain background with the ability to interact with internal and external customers and suppliers. · Strong communication skills, in both verbal and written forms. · Knowledge of computer hardware configurations and operating systems. · Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. · Excellent customer relationship and communication skills. · Flexibility to solve different types of challenges. · Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. · Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. · Able to handle and resolve conflict and team performance issues. · Time management, prioritization and organization skills and the ability to delegate workload appropriately. · Ability to analyze cost and pricing data. · Able to delegate and supervise staff. · Detail oriented with strict attention to quality including accurate and efficient computer data entry skills. · Make decisions that properly reflect company policy. · Able to drive implementation of policies, procedures and best practices. · Exercise accountability, excellence, innovation, safety, teamwork and collaboration in your daily activities.
