You will lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve sales targets and foster long-term client relationships. The work model for this role (onsite) This role is contributing to Process Automation Business Area based in Abu Dhabi UAE. You will be mainly accountable for: Developing and executing strategic sales plans achieving revenue targets and expanding market presence for APM solutions. Leading and motivating a team of sales representatives, setting clear objectives, and providing ongoing coaching and feedback. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building activities. Collaborating with marketing and product teams to develop effective sales collateral, presentations, and promotional materials. Conducting market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and market dynamics. Engaging with key stakeholders, including executives and decision-makers in asset-intensive industries, understanding their business challenges and position our APM solutions as value-added solutions. Managing the sales pipeline, track sales metrics, and providing regular reports and updates to senior management. Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements in alignment with company policies and objectives. Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and support throughout the sales process and beyond. Staying updated on product enhancements, new features, and industry developments effectively communicating value propositions and differentiate our offerings. Developing sales plan and go-to-market strategy for promoting ABB APM portfolio within the oil and gas, petrochemical, power and water industry. Implementing a consultative sales approach focused on understanding customer needs, educating them about ABB APM solutions, and providing tailored recommendations. Bringing the global mindset and holistic view of global markets and segments defining and offering the APM portfolio with the focus on globalization and localization needs and export trade compliances, etc. Developing an Ecosystem of partners including EPC companies and services providers to scale the delivery and adoption of ABB APM solution. Conducting a thorough analysis of the oil and gas industry, including current trends, challenges, and opportunities related to APM. Demonstrating deep domain knowledge and expertise in so-lution consulting and selling, particularly in understanding customers\' buying behaviors related to APM needs in Oil and Gas, Power and Water Industry Providing strategic guidance on integrating digital offering into business operations and decision-making processes, collaborating with clients to set actionable goals. Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners to build consensus and drive collective action on digital transformation issues. Providing strategic guidance on integrating APM solutions into business operations and decision-making processes. Developing winning proposals through experience in APM solutions and services, ensuring successful execution of projects. Building strong customer references and success stories to grow and scale up the digital/APM business, reinforcing our commitment to digital transformation and customer satisfaction. Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners to build consensus and drive collective action on APM sales. Demonstrating solid industry domain knowledge relating the value of digitalization and ABB's digital portfolio. Displaying deeper knowledge of solution consulting approach and solution selling and strong understanding on customers buying behaviors related to digital needs and drives appropriate business models. Accelerating the adoption of digital portfolio offering with strong industry specific contextualization, globally. Nurturing industry specific partnership ecosystem for stronger Go-To-Market (GTM).Qualifications for the role
Bachelors degree in engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven track record of success in APM sales or related technology sales roles, with at least 10] years of experience in a sales leadership position.
Deep understanding of Asset Performance Management (APM) technologies, predictive maintenance, reliability engineering, and asset-intensive industries.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and moti-vate a sales team.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results under pressure.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
