:Job OverviewWeatherford is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assembler to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for assembling and completing Factory Acceptance Testing of our products according to technical documentation, drawings, and specifications. With your expertise in complex hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, you will ensure the highest quality standards are met throughout the assembly process.Responsibilities:
Measuring instruments, hand and power tools, and measuring devices
Ability to rework the complete product line
Effective communication skills to collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Test departments
Familiarity with Operational Excellence Process Standards and Improvement methodologies
Ability to assemble the complete product line with minimal support
Mentoring and coordination skills to guide junior personnel
Commitment to carrying out work assignments to the highest quality level
Understand and comply with all safety, environmental requirements, and company policies
Functional English comprehension in reading, writing, and speaking
Basic computer skills
Familiarity with manufacturing processes
Support effective assembly planning and kitting operations
Perform housekeeping duties in the production assembly workshop
Compile and complete necessary assembly and testing documentation
Collaborate with third-party inspectors to ensure customer quality control plan adherence
Provide continual improvement feedback to line management and engineering
Troubleshoot and fault find non-conforming components, sub-assemblies, and/or products
Support stores activity when necessary
Qualifications:
Diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification is required.
